European Tours

2011 dates coming soon

For the last few years I've been taking ex-students to Spain. I have to admit that many of the Spanish roads are incredible and very quiet. On one 90 mile stretch of road I saw no more than 6 cars!! Most are surfaced very well; probably paid for by the Brits!! (According to Jeremy Clarkson) The experience of a Spanish tour is unforgettable and I now have a lot of ex-customers who go every year with me. (Can’t get rid of them!) The format of the tour is something like:

Depart on a Wednesday or Friday; ferry to Santander from PLymouth or Depart Saturday.  From Santander south towards central Spain. Normally 6 days  exploring central/northern Spain including the Pyrenees. Return back to UK via ferry. We only stay in 3 or 4 star hotels (normally Parradors). There is not a tent within 100 miles of our tours! After an exhilarating days riding it's nice to step into a modern clean bathroom/shower have a drink from the mini bar before heading out for a few beers and some diner.  Not only is the riding great but the whole experience is one you won't forget in a hurry and you WILL go back again!!  We have all sorts of riders on the tours; this May we had R1's Tuonos, Multistradas and Pan Europeans to name a few. Every one rides at their own pace and we meet up frequently to grab a coffee and generally talk bikes. Every rider gets detailed maps (mind you the number of riders who now have GPS is astonishing) as well as all the contact info they could possibly need. In all the time I've been doing these trips we haven't lost anyone yet!!

As a guide you would be looking at between £750 - £950 per person depending on time of year. This is inclusive of ferry costs (bike and cabin) and hotel accommodation. You would only need your fuel, food and beer money!
